Cymbidium Aeka Orchid Cymbidium Aeka (Cym. Aeka) "Kiritubo," which means magnificent scent, is an original orchid cultivated by Japan Orchid Inc. and fed with Be-1. It debuted at the Int'l Orchid Show at the Tokyo Dome (Tokyo, Japan) in 2009. Its seed parents were Cymbidium and Wood Nymph and its pollen parents were Cymbidium and Enzan Knuckle. rok-orchids

Marilyn Monroe Originally cultivated and released in Japan in 1975, sales of the Marilyn Monroe were soft. With large pink flowers and elegant colors, it caught the eye of a grower in Santa Barbara, California, who brought it to the U.S. and turned it into a U.S. sensation. After gaining popularity in the U.S., it returned to Japan and found new success; today, it is remains one of the most beloved varieties.
